I'm happy to present you deviantART Translate!
This little script provides translation functionalities for deviantART.
What do you need?
- Mozilla Firefox
- GreaseMonkey Extension
If you have these two already, click here to install the script. To see it in action, refresh any deviantART page after installation.
If at any time you want to disable the script, just right click on the little monkey icon and uncheck 'DevArtTranslate'
What it does:
- Translates a large part of deviantART
- Incorporates the work done in the Welcome Pack into the website itself
- Does this while still being rather fast
What it doesn't do:
- Translate everything in dA - this is a work in progress, we'll translate more stuff when we find them or need them
Feel free to suggest certain pages or dA functions that you think are useful.
- Translate all the buttons - although some buttons will be translated, some will not be. Still, most of these buttons should have a translation associated. Place your mouse over the button and check if it has a tooltip with the translation (the big fat 'Search Art' button on top works this way).
What languages are supported:
- Portuguese - thanks to `isabelucha and =Helewidis for the FAQ section translation
- Italian - thanks to `Little-Vampire for the italian translation
How do I choose my language?
- You don't. Your browser asks for webpages in certain languages. The script will respect this behaviour so you don't need to configure anything.
Can I add my own translations to your work?
- Sure. Contact me on that by note.

Posizionate il vostro mouse sopra il pulsante e controllate se ha un'etichetta con la traduzione (Il pulsante 'Search Art' funziona così )

Se a qualquer altura quiseres desligar o script, clicka com o botão direito no ícone do macaco e desmarca 'DevArtTranslate'

- Traduzir todos os botões - apesar de alguns botões estarem traduzidos, alguns não vão estar. Mesmo assim, a maioria destes devem ter uma tradução associada. Põe o rato em cima do botão e vê se tem uma tooltip com a tradução (o botão 'Search Art' funciona assim, p.e.)
